Kristiana Rodriguez has been writing since she was given a 1950s Royal typewriter in elementary school. She won a writing contest in the sixth grade, and the success went straight to her head. From a small town in Southern California that people drive through, she dreamt of leaving. She moved 40 miles away.
Growing up the youngest on both sides of a mixed-race family, with a speech impediment, she struggled to be heard and understood. This led to becoming the loudest introvert at the table.
Obsessed with stories and making sense of the world, she writes essays on disillusionment and self-trust. She takes complex topics and makes them easily digestible, from business articles on retirement or real estate to picture books for kids and adults.
Kristiana is a skilled business writer, book reviewer, and advocate of public libraries. She received her undergraduate degree in English Literature and is working on a collection of essays to heal her inner child and the generational trauma she inherited. Purpose
Live local. Live meaningfully.
community and connections
There is nothing more powerful than our local communities.
When we invest our time, money, and resources in our local community, our dollars stay in our community, we connect to our neighbors, and we create change.
